Light is a metaphor for competence
The more we know, the brighter our minds shine. Great thinkers are great because they are bright individuals.
Light is fascinating, isn't it?
Without light, we can't see anything.
But when light strikes an object, we can see its form, its shape, and its color.
It is an analogy for how we view competence.
When we are competent, we become like a shining light.
So, how do we become more competent?
My advice? Learn everything. Read everything.
And don't just read what is in your comfort zone. Push yourself.
Because with knowledge comes confidence. And with confidence comes competence.
Our abilities illuminate the world around us.
Like light, competence involves taking action.
The more we study, practice and experiment, the brighter our competence becomes.
But there is more to the metaphor of light.
Light is also a symbol of hope.
When we shine a light on a problem, we can find a solution.
When we shine a light on a situation, we can create a path forward.
In this way, competence is also a beacon of hope.
It guides us towards success.
So, if you want to be more competent, remember the power of light: it is bright, it has color, and temperature (see previous post).
Take action, shine your light, and always keep moving forward.
