As we close out April’s "Biblical Wisdom for Flourishing" series, we focus on Faith in Uncertain Times – Trusting God When Life is Unclear. Life often throws us into seasons of uncertainty—job losses, health challenges, or unanswered prayers. In those moments, faith is not about having all the answers; it’s about trusting the God who does.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
The story of Job offers a powerful biblical example. Despite losing everything, Job clung to his faith, refusing to abandon trust in God. In the end, God restored him—and Job emerged with a faith deeper and stronger than before.
Today, countless people walk through uncertainty, choosing prayer, patience, and trust over fear. Faith doesn't erase hardship, but it anchors us through it.
Reflection Questions:
What is one area of uncertainty in your life?
How can you actively trust God this week?
Faith in uncertain times means releasing control and leaning into God’s greater plan. It’s not about knowing the future—it’s about trusting the One who holds it.
Faith is not just something we believe—it’s something we live. This week, ask yourself:
"Where do I need to trust God more?"
Remember, faith isn’t about moving mountains on your own. It’s about trusting the One who can.
See you in the month of May!
